Lars Alexandersson makes his Tekken 8 debut in a recent gameplay trailer released by Bandai Namco. Tekken 8’s Lars Alexandersson gameplay trailer goes over all of the Swedish fighter’s moves, attacks, and Rage Art.

The trailer comes a few days after the previous character spotlight, which featured King. Like in previous games, Lars wields the power of lightning, and his moves are just as flashy as they are deadly. Here’s the trailer below:

Lars is a prominent character in the Tekken games as well as its story, being the illegitimate son of Heihachi. His Rage Art causes Lars to turn into a streak of lightning, dashing through his opponent before landing a final devastating blow and landing in style. We also get more footage of Lars’ new outfit, with a white coat and ornate metal accessories to give him an imposing look.

With the new gameplay footage, Lars is now the sixth playable character to have a gameplay trailer. Aside from King, Bandai Namco has also released footage for Marshall Law, Paul Pheonix, Jin Kazama, and Kazuya Mishima. Currently, the game is set for closed alpha testing, with the tests to begin during EVO Japan 2023. Close alpha tests will also be held in North America, Europe, and other locations, with dates and other information to be announced in the future.
