Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco Entertainment have unveiled a new cinematic trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me. The trailer takes place inside villain Granthem Du’Met’s Murder Hotel, where the protagonists try to uncover the ominous mystery surrounding their host while struggling to evade his horrifying contraptions.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me serves as the finale of the first season of interactive horror drama franchise The Dark Pictures anthology. In The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, a group of documentary filmmakers (working under the name Lonnit Entertainment) receive a mysterious invite to a replica of the ‘Murder Castle’ of H.H. Holmes, America’s first serial killer. They soon discover that their reclusive host is watching their every move, and that the Hotel is actually a sinister maze full of horrors and lethal traps.

The game brings new gameplay challenges to the series, including tool-based puzzles. It will also feature a character inventory system and more mobility options than in previous games.

The game releases on November 18 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, and can now be pre-ordered.
