The Division 2 Down on March 3 and It’s for Something Big
Ubisoft has taken The Division 2 servers down on March 3, and this isn’t just for your standard title update. It’s not even for a new seasonal content drop, but something much bigger.
Agents won’t be able to access the game until much later and there’s a good reason for that, as Massive Entertainment has something big lined up.
Read on for the schedule and an idea of what’s incoming today.
The Division 2 Servers Taken Offline on March 3 for Year 8
Update: Better late than never, but here are the patch notes and details on the new content for The Division 2’s 10th Anniversary update.
Expect The Division 2’s servers to be offline on March 3 starting at 9:30 am CET/3:30 am ET/12:30 am PT/4:30 pm HKT. The game will be unavailable for five hours (estimated).
Massive Entertainment is keeping the patch notes secret, as the lead-up to the game coming back online will be met with a livestream showcasing Year 8 plans for The Division 2, and possibly beyond.
Chances are, we’ll finally hear more about the Survivors content planned, and maybe a release date for it too.
The stream will mark the franchise’s 10th anniversary and is set to air at 9 am PT/6 am ET/7 pm HKT. Expect update on The Division Resurgence, Year 8 plans, and we’re hoping something about The Division 3 too.
Once more details about the update is live, we’ll have it up on the site. The patch notes should be on a separate article, with the breakdown of info on what to expect this year in another.
It’s a good time to be a The Division fan, and MP1st will be covering the event of agents.
