Division 2 Down on November 3

Agents, the moment you’ve been waiting for is almost here, as Ubisoft is about to bring crossplay to The Division 2.

Before the update for that is rolled out, Ubisoft needs to take The Division 2 servers down on November 3, and this is in order to conduct maintenance and roll out the patch.

This is a longer downtime than usual, so keep that in mind.

The Division 2 Servers Down for an Extended Period of Time on November 3

Per Ubisoft, today’s downtime starts at 9:00 AM CET, 3:00 AM ET, and 12:00 AM PT.  For those in the US, don’t forget that Daylight Savings is now over, so make sure your clocks are set accordingly.

The downtime will last roughly six hours, which is a lot longer than what we’re used to.

As for the patch, this will bring crossplay support, though that won’t be available until November 17.

Overview

  • Crossplay rollout: PC, PlayStation, and Xbox crossplay launches November 17, 2026.

  • Clan size increased: Maximum members increased from 50 to 100.

  • Conflict improvements: New scoreboard statistics, Combat Marks, and Honor Marks.

  • Friend Referral rewards: New Cyclops, Esprit de Corps, and Frenzied outfits.

  • Shepherd Event: Runs November 17–26, offering Exotic Components, XP, Reconstructed Caches, and a Named Mk16.

  • Master Climax Mission: Available November 3, with guaranteed Loaded for Bear Exotic Gloves on first Master completion.

  • Stretch Goals: Temporarily removed for the season.

  • Fixes: Several weapon, Season Pass, Classified Assignment, and Conflict reward issues addressed.

  • Known issue: Climax Mission may remain locked after completing all High-Value Target Manhunt Scouts. Logging out and back in is the workaround.

Crossplay Schedule

Date Changes
November 3 Crossplay icons and UI changes appear
November 10 PC moves to new Crossplay servers; PC leaderboards reset
November 17 Crossplay goes live across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox

Crossplay is enabled by default when it launches, but players can disable it from the character selection screen.

Note that with this drastic change in the game’s systems, do not be surprised if maintenance takes longer than expect. If that happens, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
