In case you’ve been living under a rock, you most probably have heard that a little game by the name of Anthem is out today. For those looking forward to live services-themed games, Anthem isn’t the only one launching this year as Ubisoft’s The Division 2 is set to assault players this March 15.
While some gamers take sides when it comes to console preferences or even games, the actual makers of said games do not. Case in point? Julian Gerighty, Creative Director of The Division 2, tweeted a congratulations to BioWare for launching Anthem, which even included a picture of his cat.
Let’s do this!
Congrats to the whole @bioware team for shipping such a beautiful and ambitious project.
Love from @UbiMassive and @TheDivisionGame.#Colossus 4 ever. pic.twitter.com/t7sAqIlY6z— Julian Gerighty (@jgerighty) February 22, 2019
This nice gesture didn’t remain unnoticed though, as Lead Producer for Anthem Michael Gamble gave thanks to Gerighty and mentions how he’s looking forward to The Division 2 as well.
🙏thank you sir. Greatly looking forward to Division 2 as well!

It’s nice to see when these things happen, and remind us that the constant warring between platforms and game franchises are usually exclusive to fanboys and fangirls rather than the makers themselves.
For those who want to test out The Division 2 before buying, a beta is set to happen this March 1 and will be open to everyone.
