The Division Mobile Game “The Division Resurgence” Announced, Features New Story and Enemy Factions

Ubisoft has just announced the new Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence mobile game, which is the first mobile The Division canon game, it will be free-to-play and will feature a new storyline with different classes and enemy factions.

“Taking place in a contemporary post-crisis New York City, The Division Resurgence offers a unique perspective on key story events that have taken place in Tom Clancy’s The Division® and Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2. Chaos continues to wreak havoc in New York City, and as first-wave agents representing the Strategic Homeland Division, players will be tasked to protect civilians against hostile factions and help them build a better future. Players will discover new characters with deep backstories and powerful enemies with challenging abilities,” said Ubisoft in a Press Release.

The Division Resurgence will also feature a vast open world that will allow players to freely roam and explore as they please. The game will build on the original games’ modes and stories, and it is promised to introduce new gear and weapons to the franchise.

Players will also be able to enjoy the game with a group of friends in co-op mode, with a bunch of PvE activities as well as the game’s main story mission.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence is now in development for iOS and Android devices, and is due out in 2023. Speaking of The Division franchise, Ubisoft laid out a roadmap for the brand yesterday, which mentions that two new seasons are incoming for The Division 2.
