Nintendo has released The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom update 1.1.2, which addresses yet another progression bug, as well as other fixes. Read on to find out what’s included in the TOTK patch notes for May 25.

- Audio Bug Fixes – Fixed an issue where the sound would play at an extremely high volume in certain conditions.
- Additional Fixes – Fixed an issue in the main quest, “Camera Work in the Depths”, where players could not progress beyond a certain point. Downloading the update will allow players to proceed past that point.
- Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.
That’s about it. We wouldn’t be surprised if this latest patch removes the duplication glitch even if it’s not mentioned in the patch notes.

Has anybody tried the dup glitch with this new update yet? And can you still play the game without the update without losing quality of life in the game?
just tried it – can confirm it is indeed patched. not sure about the second part of the question

Man, they sure do jump on patching out harmless fun, don’t they? If so many important items weren’t so difficult to locate, I wouldn’t mind not being able to duplicate things, but as it is, I think I’ll pass on the patch if they took out the easy dupe glitch.
it is far healthier for the game and it gives you the organic experience of actually playing the game instead of jumping and making 800 items in 10 mins. i used it to get max batteries but i’m happy they patched it and so fast because it was obviously extremely game breaking.
hear me out if you don’t want to dupe don’t dupe. Let players play the game how they want to.
