Racing fans and gamers who enjoy Gran Turismo and want to take their gaming rig to the next level will want to check this out, as Thrustmaster unveils their new Gran Turismo Sport T-GTII racing wheel for the PS5 and PS4!

Here’s all the info you need on the new rig for gamers who love racing via press release.

Thrustmaster is thrilled to unveil the T-GT II, its first racing wheel officially licensed for PlayStation®5 console. This new wheel is an even more advanced version of Thrustmaster’s T-GT (launched exactly four years earlier), providing Gran Turismo™ Sport gamers on PlayStation®4 console and PlayStation®5 console with the most breathtakingly realistic racing simulation experience currently available.

This new edition of the T-GT has been refined and perfected thanks to over 23,000 hours of intense work.

The challenge was to improve the racing wheel’s design to allow gamers to experience a level of precision and durability never seen before. This has resulted in the introduction of the groundbreaking T-DCC (Drift Curve Calculation) and T-RTF (Real Time Force feedback) systems, as well as the inclusion of new internal AEC-Q-certified components.

There you have it. With Real-Time Drift Curve Calculation/ T-DCC, Real-Time Force Feedback/ T-RTF, and T-AEC-Q all added to make this one heck of an officially licensed peripheral, the T-GTII is something to watch out for. The complete package with servo wheel + base + pedal will retail for $799.99, while the TGT-II with servo base and wheel will be priced at $699.99. Finally, the servo base alone will go for $549.99.

Check out more of the updates and news on Gran Turismo Sport over at our archives here.

Expect the Gran Turismo Sport T-GTII racing wheel complete package to hit North America on October 5, 2021, while the other packages will be released in Q4 2021.

This is a horrible value in comparison to the Fanatec CSL DD. I would much rather have Direct Drive over a belt system as this appears to be. Unless somebody just doesn’t do their research before buying this thing looks pretty DOA to me.

What a waste of “over 23,000 hours of intense work”.
I pre-ordered a $350 CSL DD, for 9-6-21 release. And utilized 1 hour of “intense work”, and made an 8nm PSU adapter, using my CSW 2.5 wheel base PSU.
Since it uses the EXACT same PSU as the CSL DD, just a different connector.
Save $130 and use your own CSW 2.5 PSU. Or buy a 24v/7.5amp DC power supply, and make your own.
If you need proof that Fanatec uses the SAME PSU on the CSL DD as the CSW 2.5 PSU?
Watch on Youtube: Sim Racing Garage review of CSW 2.5, and you see the PSU shown is the EXACT same P/N as the CSL DD/8nm PSU, as shown on Boosted Media’s review of the CSL DD.
