Don’t look now, but it seems Twitter down reports have surfaced this September 8, and it’s most likely due to the death of Queen Elizabeth.

Multiple people have reported that they can’t load Twitter, or it’s freezing when loading today. The Twitter downdetector page has also seen an uptick in reports recently as well. If you’re wondering why, it’s because Queen Elizabeth of England has passed at the age of 96.

Stories published about the Queen and tweets are circulating like crazy on Twitter. The official The Royal Family Twitter account’s tweet has over 1.2 million likes at the time of this writing:
