After an update to its official PlayStation Store page, it’s now confirmed that Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection PS4 to PS5 Trophy transfer and save transfer are both supported, allowing players from last-gen to fully enjoy the game in new-gen without having to play it all from the beginning! A full FAQ was also released for the title, which details several things you may want to know before the game’s release.
According to the FAQ section, under the question, “Does my PS4 Save Data and trophies previously accumulated transfer to PS5?”:
Yes. Before starting the game, you must have previously transferred a valid UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End or UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy PS4 saved game file to your PS5 using the “Transfer saved data using PlayStation Plus Cloud Storage” method.
- Launch UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection on the PS5.
- Select either UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End or UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy from the menu.
- The Story, Options, Extras screen appears (no matter which title you select).
- Select Story, Import Game from PS4.
- The game will look for save game files transferred using the above method.
- Select the save game file that you wish to import from the list of saved games that appears.
- Your save game file is imported to PS5.
- On the Save screen, select New Game Data to create a save file for UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
- Continue your adventure from where you left off in the PS4 version.

Which Uncharted game should I play first?
Whichever one you’d like. While there is a general evolving storyline through the series, each game is meant to stand on its own and has a narrative that’s unique. Any way you choose to play through the series, you’ll enjoy!
Do I need to play the entire Uncharted series to understand what’s happening in the games for UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection?
You don’t! While the series does have continuity, each game is meant to be a standalone adventure and can be enjoyed without playing any of the other games in the series.
Can I play UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection in different languages?
Yes, the game will be available in the following languages:

Does UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection include multiplayer?
This release does not support the multiplayer that was included in the original titles. However, we know many of you love this aspect of UNCHARTED and we suggest you continue to access it through the PS4 versions of UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End and UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy.
Can I upgrade if I own the Triple Pack, Explorer’s Pack, or Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Digital Deluxe Edition and have not redeemed Uncharted: The Lost Legacy?
Yes you can. The new PS4 UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End & UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy Digital Bundle will display a price of “0.00” to those who are eligible. Those who are not eligible, the full price will be displayed. Once you’ve downloaded the new PS4 Digital Bundle, you will now have the option to pay to upgrade to UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
Are there pre-order incentives for UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection?
Between now and February 3, 2022 11:59 pm PT, players in select countries can purchase or upgrade to UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PS5 via PlayStation Store and receive a voucher code for one standard ticket to see the UNCHARTED movie in participating theaters. Are these games linked to the Uncharted movie?
While the movie certainly took inspiration from the games, and while you’ll see some familiar set-pieces and characters, the story line of the movie is completely unique.
Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection is releasing for the PlayStation 5 this January 28. A release for PC is planned, but no release date has been given yet.
