Warframe Coming to Nintendo Switch This November

Digital Extremes’ hugely popular free-to-play live services shooter Warframe is headed to the Nintendo Switch! This was announced by the developer via a short announcement video, which you can watch below. The Warframe Nintendo Switch release date is set for November 20!

Ninjas Play Free! Coming to Nintendo Switch on November 20. They were called Tenno. Warriors of blade and gun – Masters of the Warframe armor. Those that survived the Old War were left drifting among the ruins. Now they are needed once more. The Grineer, with their vast armies, are spreading throughout the solar system. A call echoes across the stars summoning the Tenno to an ancient place. They summon you. Come Tenno, you must join the war.

Given that Nintendo just announced its premiere online service this week, it’s unknown at this time whether you’ll need to be a member of that or not in order to participate. We’ve reached out to Digital Extremes and will let our readers know what the skinny is.
