Have you heard of the game World War 3? If not, it’s fine, as it’s not made by a big-name studio, nor is it being published by a big-name publisher. It’s made by an indie team in Poland called The Farm 51.

With gamescom kicking off today, the studio has released a World War 3 gameplay trailer just for gamescom! If you’re a fan of modern combat shooters like Battlefield 4, then you’ll find a lot to love in World War 3!

World War 3 is a multiplayer military FPS set in a modern, global conflict. Strong teamplay, national armed forces, real locations, full body awareness and a versatile customization system all contribute to the authenticity of the modern combat experience enhanced by other essential elements such as a robust ballistic system, advanced armors and life-like weapons. Produced in cooperation with military R&D centers and consultants, World War 3 shows the consequences of every battle in the context of a global war campaign on a strategic war map. Coming to Steam fall 2018.

World War 3 will feature 64-player battles that will involve both infantry and vehicles, as evidenced by the gameplay trailer. You can check out the game’s official website for more details.

What do you think of it so far? Can it withstand the other shooters set to hit PCs and consoles before the year’s done?
