Microsoft has released the Xbox system update for January 16, 2024, and aside from your usual stability improvements, this also fixes issues pertaining Baldur’s Gate 3.

Here’s what’s in today’s Xbox firmware update for January 2024:
- General stability and performance improvements.
In addition to that, the official Xbox Support Twitter account confirmed that this also fixes the save game issue for Baldur’s Gate 3.
An Xbox System Update will be rolling out from today to address the Save Game issue on Baldur's Gate 3. You can manually update your console via the Settings or it will roll out to your console within the next week.

Some players have reported intermittent audio issues across the dashboard or when launching games or apps.
Workaround: Reboot the console and games should launch normally.
Workaround: Wait a minute for the console to establish a connection. If your console still hasn’t connected, restart your Xbox from the Power Center by holding the Xbox button down and selecting Restart console > Restart.
