XDefiant Public Test Session Set for September 28, Open to All PC Gamers

While there’s still no release date available for XDefiant, those who want to play the game early can do so later this week! Ubisoft has announced the XDefiant Public Test Session for September 28 (Thursday).

Given the nature of this testing phase, this is only available for PC players and will only be up for six hours. Here’s more info about it and why it won’t be available to console players per the game’s Executive Producer Mark Rubin.

XDefiant Public Session:

Date: September 28th, 2023

Time: 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET – 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET

Preload: Tuesday, September 26th, 10 AM PT

Content: Preseason Content (Maps, Modes, & Weapons/Attachments will be unlocked for PTS)

Availability: Global, PC Only

Public Test Sessions will be available only on PC and have no NDA. The PTS will be a great opportunity for additional feedback ahead of launch to help us continue making the best experience possible. See you then!

If you play MMOs you may already be familiar with this type of testing. But getting early feedback on upcoming content isn’t just something we do before we launch but also how we will run the game for many years to come.

Again this is open to anyone on PC and we really appreciate your feedback. As always there will be a survey after the test and we would love to hear from you good or bad. Hope to see you in game this Thursday!

Hopefully, this means XDefiant is set to be released soon. Speaking of which, the last update we had regarding that confirms it won’t be out this September, and has slid to sometime in October. Read on for more info about it and the explanation as to why right here.
