XDefiant Twitch Drops Rewards for Pre-Season Revealed; We’ll Get One Map a Month and Not All at Once for New Season Confirmed

In just a few days, XDefiant will be playable on consoles and PC, and while a big part of the game is customization, players won’t even need for the game to snag in-game items, as Ubisoft has revealed the XDefiant Twitch Drops rewards

XDefiant Twitch Drops Rewards for Pre-Season:

XDefiant All-Star Series Finals:

Available on the official Ubisoft Twitch channel on May 21 from 9AM Pacific / 12PM Eastern to 11AM Pacific / 2PM Eastern.

• Watch for 30 minutes to get the “Pump Action” Victory Animation.

Preseason Week 1:

Available on all XDefiant streams May 21 at 11AM Pacific / 2PM Eastern to May 28 at 10AM Pacific / 1PM Eastern.

• Watch for 30 minutes to get a Weapon XP Booster
• Watch for 1 hour to get the Morganite M4A1 Weapon Skin
• Watch for 1 hour 30 minutes to get the Violet M4A1 Weapon Skin

How Do Twitch Drops Work?

Be sure to follow these steps to make sure you’re set up to earn Drops:

• Step 1: Link your Twitch account and Ubisoft account. Click here to link accounts now.
• Step 2: Watch eligible streams. You’ll earn progress toward various items by watching streams for 30 minutes or more. See above for details on how to get each available item.
• Step 3: Claim Your Rewards. When you’ve earned a Drop, be sure to claim it in your Twitch Inventory. Once complete, your rewards will be waiting for you in-game.

For those wondering which creator channel will support the drops, Ubisoft says that once the weekly pre-season Twitch Drops begin, players can earn ’em by watching any XDefiant stream on Twitch.

In addition to the Twitch rewards, the devs have also shared the first episode of the XDebrief. While the video features some handy tips and whatnot, Executive Producer Mark Rubin also confirmed that for each new season of XDefiant, players will get one new map per month instead of dropping all three new maps for the season at once. In case you didn’t know, the XDefiant Year 1 roadmap mentioned that for each new season, players will get three new maps (alongside new weapons, factions and more).
