Apex Legends New Update for October 10

Respawn Entertainment has pushed out the Apex Legends new update for October 10, and this one nerfs the Mozambiques! Finally, the player concerns have been heard. Curious what got changed? Read on, legend.

Apex Legends New Update for October 10 Patch Notes:

Here’s what got changed per Respawn:

  • Single & Akimbo Mozambique have had their rate of fire reduced at base and all bolt rarities
  • Magazine Size for a single is reduced to 5 (was 6)
  • Magazine Size for Akimbo reduced to 10 (was 12)
  • Blast pattern scale increased
  • When using Akimbo Mozambiques, the projectile size is now reduced (normalized to other shotguns)

While what we got was a server-side patch, we also got a client patch a few days ago that ushered in new changes, which we’ve included below.

  • Mirage not being cloaked after he’s been revived
  • Crypto being visible when using Off the Grid while wearing specific skins
  • Players who hit a white screen when launching the game will now receive an error message telling them why
  • Resolved an issue causing Bot Royale stats to display inaccurately
  • A visual glitch caused by Pathfinder grappling to the edge of objects higher than him
  • Fixed certain Amped Knockout challenges whose names did not match their completion requirements

Respawn also issued a statement on global drop rates which you can read about here.
