Apex Legends New Update on November 12 Applies Technical Fixes via Patch 2.98/1.000.112
Respawn Entertainment has released a new Apex Legends update on consoles and PC, and this is a minor patch that aims to resolve a few key technical issues.
Console gamers will see the download appear as Apex Legends update 2.98/1.000.112, and this should be a minor download.
Don’t expect any new content, especially since the Amped update was released just last week.

Here are the items fixed per Respawn:
- Several client crashes that have popped up since the season launch
- “Restore Defaults” option not restoring Mantle Boost settings
- Sparrow’s Ultimate ability unexpectedly moving on its own
- Various Trident SFX fixes
- The Ranked Points table displaying incorrect values on the Ranked Leagues page
- XP Boost and Kill Quip images getting stuck on the Battle Pass screen
Alongside the issues tackled today, the developers are currently looking at the following issues:
- Founder’s badge shows as locked, but can still be equipped
- Reports of high CPU usage while running the game
- Inactive EVO Harvester maintains hitbox from active state
- [Retro Packs] Visual error with progress bar, still tracking in backend (Fix in Progress)

Another Electronic Arts-published shooter is getting an update next week, and I’m referring to Battlefield 6. Check out a preview of the changes incoming with the November 18 update.
