ARC Raiders Tech Test Update 1.000.008 Is a Mandatory Re-Download of the Client for Tech Fixes
While a flood of new players are downloading the ARC Raiders Server Slam client fresh, there are those who took part in earlier tests that saw their previous test client get updated twice today.
This update is for the Server Slam, so players can access it as it went live today. However, for those that saw an update earlier today, you might have seen another download pop up that’s quite significant in size, and this is essentially a redownload of the game client.
Console players should see it as ARC Raiders Tech Test update 1.000.008, and this has been rolled out by Embark today.
ARC Raiders Server Slam Issues Necessitated a Re-Download With New Version 1.000.008
The size of the cllient should be:
- PS5 -15 GB
- Steam – 28.4 GB
- Epic Games Store – 31.93 GB
The announcement from Embark states, “We’re pushing through the first Hotfix of the Server Slam! This fix is mainly aimed at solving some of the crashes and errors that you may have been experiencing. This time around, it’s a full redownload of the game, so it may take a while to update. This isn’t the norm, but it should be the last hotfix of its kind.”
