ARMA Reforger Update 1.040.029

[summaraize]

Following the major patch released last week that introduced mods to the PS5 version of ARMA Reforger, Bohemia Interactive has released a new update today that addresses issues related to that and more.

Players will see this as ARMA Reforger update 1.040.029, and this also includes performance improvements, alongside other modding fixes. This is a minor patch for the mil-sim, so don’t expect anything big to be added and whatnot.

ARMA Reforger’s Latest Patch Is a Minor Update That Resolves Modding Issues

Here’s what got fixed per Bohemia:

PlayStation 5

  • Fixed: False “Not enough storage space” error, when there are no mods installed or there is still enough space within the 25 GB budget

Stability and Performance

  • Fixed: Crash when browsing Workshop on PS5
  • Fixed: Crash related to modded audio samples

Workshop

  • Fixed: Pause/Resume of download could corrupt files on consoles
  • Fixed: Validation of platform compatibility of addon before its download

Modding

  • Fixed: Behavior of ScriptInvokers to prevent issues or differences between platforms
  • Changed: ScriptInvoker cannot be invoked again until it finishes – recursive invoke will throw VME and will not execute
  • Changed: New function inserted from inside invoked function will not be invoked in current execution

Don’t be surprised to see another minor patch released to address any bugs that might affect the game.

If you’re interested in ARMA Reforger but don’t own the game, it’s currently on sale on the PSN Store’s “Days of Play” promotion.
