Assassin’s Creed Unity Update 1.06 Adds 60FPS Support on Current-gen Platforms
Even if it’s been more than a decade since it launched, Ubisoft still isn’t done Assassin’s Creed Unity, as the developers pushed out a new game update today that makes the game a lot more visually appealing.
Players will see Assassin’s Creed Unity update 1.06 available for download today on PlayStation and Xbox, and this adds 60 frames-per-second (FPS) support for PS5 and Xbix Series X|S.

AC Unity Receives Visual Upgrade on March 5 for PS5, Xbox
With today’s update, Ubisoft has made the following improvements:
PS5 (6 GB)
- PS5, PS5 Pro can now run at 4K resolution at 60 frames-per-second
Xbox (32 GB)
- Series X can run at 4K resolution at 60 frames-per-second
- Series S can run at 1080p resolution at 60 frames-per-=second.
We’re not expecting any gameplay-related changes or any new major pieces of content. That said, if you’ve yet to play the game, now is the perfect time.
