Update 2: Larian Studios has released the official patch notes for what it calls Hotfix 12!
- Fixed a crash that could occur when joining with a second controller and activating split-screen in certain places.
- Fixed a crash occurring in certain spots in the game (For example, when speaking in certain conditions to Cazardor, or Thisobald Thorm
Update: Per the community from Reddit, it seems today’s patch has NOT fixed the crashing issues on the PS5.

Larian Studios has not posted any patch notes yet, but many Reddit users have pointed out that this could be a hotfix for Patch 5 which came out a few days ago. Click the aforementioned for more details on that.
Reddit user JSMan5001 posted the following comment.
Did they release a new hotfix for Patch 5? Just turned on the PS5 and it started downloading? Maybe it fixes the crashes I’ve seen people posting about?
As always, we will update this post as soon as we can when Larian Studios decides to reveal the official patch notes for today’s update.
