Following the release of Battlefield 6’s Season 2: Nightfall patch yesterday DICE has pushed out an emergency hotfix to address an annoying bug affecting gamers after installing yesterday’s update.

Players today will see hotfix 1.2.2.2 available for download, and this will show up as Battlefield 6 update 1.000.016 on consoles.

As the title states, this fixes the EULA screen bug that’s more of an annoyance than anything else.

Per DICE, “The team has identified the cause of the EULA (User Agreement) screen appearing more frequently than expected on consoles.”

The devs added, “Today, we deployed a client hotfix (Update 1.2.2.2) to resolve the issue,” and thanked the players for their patience.

While we wait for the next update, EA’s Battlefield Studios, which is comprised of Criterion, Ripple Effect, Motive and DICE, suffered layoffs across all teams, and this is even with the game performing very well commercially.

Expect the next major update to be revealed in a month or two, and once we know more, we’ll have it up on the site.
