Black Myth Wukong Xbox Update

While it took some time before Xbox gamers received Black Myth Wukong, it looks like there are still issues that snuck its way in. Today, Game Science has released the first Black Myth Wukong Xbox update on September 10, and this addresses some key issues.

Aside from your standard crash fixes, the patch also fixes blurry graphics that are plaguing Xbox Series X gamers.

Black Myth Wukong on Xbox Receives First Update as Version 1.0.20.21518

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the graphics appeared blurry on Xbox Series X due to global illumination ghosting in Quality and Balance modes.
  • Fixed crashes and errors occurring under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where certain side quests became unprogressable or triggered errors when a dialogue was exited abnormally.
  • Fixed an issue where certain bosses in Mount Huaguo would sink abnormally when the player moved away.
  • Fixed an issue where the game responded slowly to controller input in the Text Language dropdown menu within Settings.

In other news, Game Science has confirmed the next game in the series is Black Myth: Zhongkui, though don’t expect it to be released anytime soon.

While Wukong’s adventure seems to be over, Game Science has mentioned that it will continue, but the studio wants to develop a new adventure first.
