COD: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Update 1.54 Deployed for Adjustments
Heads up! COD: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone update 1.54 has just been released by Sledgehammer Games, and while this does include gameplay adjustments and bug fixes for Multiplayer and Warzone, chances are, this is also the patch that ushers in new content for the second weekend of the Black Ops 6 beta kicking off Friday!
Before diving into the beta changelog, read on for the official patch notes on what got changed for today.
COD: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Update 1.54 Patch Notes:
Multiplayer

- Fixed an issue causing split-screen players to encounter DEV ERROR 12744.
Modes

- Disabled infil sequences on Skidrow and 6 Star to prevent mixed team spawns.

- Fixed an issue allowing the Weapon to have infinite reserve ammunition.

- Corrected the alignment of the optic reticle before it is drawn.

- Fixed an issue causing Attachments to be removed from certain Blueprints upon being equipped.
Warzone
GAMEPLAY
- Bunker Busters
- Attempting to use a Bunker Buster within close proximity of an already active one will display an “Airspace is too crowded” message.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed an issue preventing players from using a Deployable Buy Station more than once.
- Fixed an issue with Utility Boxes not tracking properly in the Social Warzone Rewards Challenge.
- Fixed an issue with the Redeploy Drone Beacon not counting towards “Use 10 Field Upgrades” daily challenge.
As for what’s new in Black Ops 6’s beta this weekend, here’s what Treyarch has announced so far:
- Level cap raised to 30
- Weapon balancing
- Spawn tuning
- Increased Weapon XP earn rate
- Audio improvements
- Bug fixes + more
In terms of what’s new, here’s what Treyarch has revealed:
New Maps Added:
- Babylon (Core)
- Strike (Strike)
Modes:
- Gunfight
Weapons:
- DM-10 (Primary Weapon) – Semi-auto DMR. Best in class stability and power make this the ideal Marksman Rifle for mid- to long-range engagements.
- Tanto .22 (Primary Weapon) -Full-auto submachine gun. Slow-firing but hard-hitting, the Tanto .22 is an easy-to-handle SMG with impressive mid-range performance.
Equipment:
- Blast Trap (Lethal Equipment) – Planted explosive device detonates when enemies come near.
- Combat Axe – Thrown axe that eliminates enemies in one hit. Bounces off surfaces.
- Decoy – Grenade that simulates footsteps and gunfire sounds to confuse enemies. Sticks to surfaces.
Perks:
- Scavenger
- Fast Hands – Swap weapons faster and extend fuses when throwing back grenades. Combat Specialty: Strategist.
- Cold-Blooded – Undetectable by AI targeting and thermal optics. Player-controlled Scorestreaks don’t highlight you. Combat Specialty: Recon.
- Tac Mask – Resistance to enemy flash and concussion grenades and enemy Neurogas. Combat Specialty: Strategist.
- Forward Intel – Increases minimap area and shows direction indicators for revealed enemies.
- Gearhead – Two Field Upgrade charges. Increased Field Upgrade charge rate. Hack enemy equipment and Field Upgrades.
- Ninja – Move more quietly.
Scorestreaks:
- Scorestreak: Interceptors – Call in a jet fighter squadron that eliminates enemy air targets.
- Chopper Gunner – Take control of the door gun turret on an assault chopper.
Field Upgrade:
- ScreenSleeper Agent – Infiltrate the enemy team appearing as a friendly to them for a short duration. Eliminations extend the time. Gunfire and enemy content reveal your true identity.
Wildcard:
- Gunfighter – Get three extra attachment points for your Primary Weapon.
The studio has confirmed that we’ll be getting the full patch notes on what got changed from the second weekend of the beta tomorrow, and yes, the Jackal SMG will be getting a nerf according to the studio!

That’s about it. Given the BO6 beta is housed in the Call of Duty HQ app, expect it to be updated whenever Warzone, Modern Warfare 3 or even Black Ops 6 gets a new patch.
