Treyarch has pushed out (Call of Duty) COD: Black Ops 6 and Warzone new update 1.066 on all platforms. While this aims to fix the loading screen issue and other bugs, it also caused problems with matchmaking.

BUG FIXES
- Fixed an issue where loading screens were causing instances of freezing or crashing.
- Fixed an issue with bullet trajectory on the AMR Mod 4.
- Fixed an issue in Resurgence where a player dying out of bounds would lose functionality of their field upgrades and killstreaks.
- Fixed an issue where models weren’t visible for ammo boxes, self revives, and throwing knives.
- Fixed an issue where players would not have a death icon when dying to Red Light Green Light.
While the bug fixes are welcome, what’s not is the connection issues that are affecting gamers once the patch is installed.

Multiple players are have reported on how after applying today’s patch, players are now stuck in matchmaking queue purgatory.

Activision has acknowledged the issue, though only said that players might be seeing “longer than usual” matchmaking times due to the update.
