College Football 26 Update on July 29 Hits the Field for Version 1.006
EA has released a new minor update for College Football 26 and this is another unannounced patch. While we’re not expecting any new content, there shouldn’t be a lot of gameplay-related changes as well, since we got the game’s first major update last week.
Expect the patch to help with game stability and performance, as crashes plagued the game after the last update. Those on PS5, you should see this download appear as College Football 26 update 1.006 (version 1.006.000).
College Football 26 Update on July 29 Now Live on All Platforms
Unfortunately, EA has not released any patch notes yet, which is par for the course for the dev team when it comes to minor updates.
Some of the items we hope got fixed, which are issues the community has mentioned before, include:
- Game stability and crashing issues
- Cincinnati’s uniform bugged
- Awards disappearing
- Soundtrack issues
- Dynasty Stadium Atmosphere grade not working
- Disappearing players on Defense
- Fake Field Goal bug
- If RB is blocked, you can’t make any more blocking adjustments.
There’s a lot more than that, but those are some of the big ticket items we’ve noticed. If EA releases a proper changelog, we’ll update the article with the info, so sit tight.
