Destiny 2 Patch 1.03 Now Out, Adds Guided Games and Balance Tweaks

As part of yesterday’s hours-long Destiny 2 server maintenance, Bungie has also rolled out a Destiny 2 update (1.03) that’s not only big in size, but also adds a new feature. No doubt this is in part to kick off the upcoming Raid, which should mean Bungie will have all hands on deck to make sure everything is working smoothly.

Before you can download the hefty 4.75GB file, there’s a hotfix that also rolled out on Bungie’s backend. Check out the short notes for it below.

1.0.1.2 The one about Clan rosters.

Clans
  • Fixed an issue that caused Clan Rosters to not be displayed in game
Items
  • Fixed an issue that caused players to not receive MIDA Mini-Tool when they have a full weapon inventory
    • Players can obtain their missing MIDA Mini-Tool from Devrim Kay
General
  • Fixed a rare memory leak that would result in a crash

Full Destiny 2 patch 1.03 patch notes aren’t here yet, but we’ll update the post to reflect it once Bungie releases it. As for “Guided Games,” it’s Bungie’s way of making players more at ease with Destiny 2’s end-game content. We’ll know for sure if it works or doesn’t work, in the weeks to come.
