Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Update 2.000.001 Brings Yajirobe Nerfs and More This October 24
Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco Entertainment have released Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero update 2.000.001 on all platforms, and this brings a few gameplay-related changes such as a nerf for Yajirobe, alongside a fix for some control issues.
Sadly, there seems to be no mention of matchmaking fixes, so for those having issues playing against opponents online, you’ll have to wait for the next patch or a server-side fix to hell alleviate this issue.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Update 2.000.001 Patch Notes and What’s New for October 24:
- Improvement of an issue where some controls become unresponsive during online matches when classic controls are selected
- Adjustment of difficulty levels when playing certain stages in Episode Battle on lower difficulty settings
- Adjustment of Yajirobe’s stats
- Improved operational stability
Issues Being Looked Into:
Bandai Namco shared a list of issues they are looking into:
- Character rank reset to 0
- Connection errors & online matching issues
- Corrupted save data
For Yajirobe, who has been a surprise top tier character since launch, the nerf translated to his Senzu Beans skill now costs six Skill Count instead of five, and he now starts a match with zero (0) Skill Count instead of two. In addition to that, his health has also been reduced from three health bars to 2 ½.

In terms of what’s new on the horizon, there’s the DLC packs from the Season Pass, with Bandai Namco confirming we’ll be seeing Dragon Ball: Daima characters soon.
