Bandai Namco Entertainment has just begun rolling out Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Update 1.41 across all platforms, though for those trying to play online at the moment, the servers also happen to be down for some planned maintenance.

DBZ Xenoverse 2 Update 1.001.003 Version for PS5:

At the moment, Bandai has yet to release or acknowledge any update for the game. They did confirm, though, that the servers would be taken down, which just so happens to be during the time the patch dropped. Unfortunately, they didn’t specify exactly what the downtime was for.

The game servers are expected to be down for a full 8 hours, with the schedule available below.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Server Maintenance Schedule

  • 7/24 18:00 PDT | 7/25 3:00 CEST to 7/25 2:00 PDT | 7/25 11:00 CEST.

The update itself is a pretty sizable one, coming in between 4-7 GB, depending on your platform. As for what it contains, as mentioned before, Bandai has yet to release any patch notes. However, based on what we can see, the STP Medals are now available for purchase on storefronts. The available packages are as follows:

  • STP Medal x500 – $4.99
  • STP Medal x1,100 – $9.99
  • STP Medal x2300 – $19.99
  • STP Medal x3500 – $29.99
  • STP Medal x6000 – $49.99

According to the PlayStation Store’s description, STP Medals are an in-game currency that can be exchanged for various items at the Medal Shop in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 and other locations.

We’ll probably assume that several new cosmetics and shop items have been added with this update, though we won’t know for sure until the servers come back online. Should Bandai release any official patch notes, we’ll update them above.
