Dragon Ball Z Kakarot New Update 2.20 Released for Daima DLC Data, Enhanced Graphics
Bandai Namco is set to unleash the latest premium expansion for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot later this week in the form of the Daima -Adventure Through The Demon Realm Part 1 DLC.
Even if you aren’t buying the DLC, players will be prompted to download DBZ: Kakarot update 2.20/1.030 (ver. 01.030.000) on consoles. While the DLC data can be download today, it won’t be playable until July 17.
For PC players, today’s patch will provide enhanced graphics for free and available now.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Latest Update Delivers Daima DLC and Various Improvements
The first part of the DLC kicks off this week, and it will feature a new story that “has players once again taking control of Goku as he embarks on a quest to find the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls, joined by the friendly faces of Shin, Glorio and Panzy.”
In addition to demons, players can expect medi bugs, floating islands and other elements that fans will recognize from the Demon Realm anime. There are also “Demon Realm Rumors” which will expand on the lore of the anime to introduce new insights into the environment and ecosystem of the Demon World beyond what’s depicted in the show.
The Daima – Adventure Through the Demon Realm Pack houses the following content:
- DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 1 (July 17, 2025)
- DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 2 (Jan-Mar 2026)
- DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm Pack Bonus
- Items: Ultimate Meat Feast, Mega Sacred Water, Purple Dino Horn, and Awakening Wate
For PC players,. the graphical enhancement should be live with this patch, and here’s a trailer showcasing the improvements being slotted in.
