Dying Light 2 Hotfix 1.25.2 Released as Update 1.083/1.83
Following two patches released last week by Techland for Dying Light 2, one of which introduced the Halloween update for the game, the studio has released a hotfix today on all platforms. which the studio calls Hotfix 1.25.2.
The Dying Light 2 patch should appear as update version 1.83/1.083 (complete version 1.083.000) for gamers, and this applies a good chunk of fixes.
The update doesn’t fix just Halloween-related stuff either, as even issues with Tower Raid and other gameplay issues have been fixed.
Dying Light 2’s Update on November 6 Brings the Game to Version 1.83/1.083
Here are the confirmed list of fixes via Techland:
- Fixed the FPS spikes in Tower Raid
- Fixed the crash that sometimes occurred when returning to Teresa after completing Dodger`s challenge
- Fixed the inconsistency in Aiden’s shadow and body when having certain Halloween weapons equipped
- Fixed the shoulder pad sometimes clipping through the shoulder
- Fixed the issue when the Player fails to switch to the right tab when clicking on it in the Player menu
- Fixed the issue with the Bad Office Day Outfit being assigned to the CONSUMABLES / ACCESSORIES vendor category
- Fixed the issue with Van Aiden not being able to craft bolts
- Fixed the issue where the Phantom of Death Paraglider can be purchased multiple times
- Fixed the issue when the Player is not rewarded for having the highest score in Status Effects Applied
- Fixed the issue with Ultraviolence & Cutthroat Cutlass starting with a Level 3 upgrade
- Fixed the issue with the Scarecrow Charm’s effect about cutting off limbs not affecting blunt weapons
- Fixed the issue with the Volatile Hunter bounty not counting Pumpkintiles properly
- Fixed the Elite Rooftop objective description mentioning killing the Volatiles when we have to kill Tyrant
- Fixed the issue with the Player being stuck when jumping on a desk wall from a certain angle on Floor 14
- Fixed the issue with Candies collected on a UGC map not being counted towards the Collect Candies bounty
Don’t be surprised if we get another patch soon, and I’m expecting we’ll get one more before 2025 ends. Another game getting consistent updates is Dying Light: The Beast, as the standalone experience received a free content patch last week. and we’re expecting more to come before the year is over.
