eFootball Gets New Update This September 11 Ushering in New Season

Earlier today, Konami yanked the eFootball servers for a long maintenance period, and this is to usher in a new season to the game. Those on last-gen will see this as eFootball update 1.29, while it’s version 4.000.001 on current-gen. Players can expect new gameplay features and other stuff for players.

eFootball New Update Version 1.29/4.000.001 Patch Notes:

Konami hasn’t released the patch notes just yet, though they have announced some of the new stuff we can expect from this patch.

Finesse Dribble:

With improved usability, you will now have even more options to enjoy the tactical battles between offence and defence.

Improvements to Physical Contact Stat:

In a heated situation where there is physical contact between the attacker and the defender, the player with the higher “Physical Contact” stat will have an advantage.

A trial version of the new control type, “Smart Assist”, will be implemented 

This will support you during a match by automatically controlling certain aspects for you, such as shot power and dribbling direction.
