Epic Games is set to unleash something big this weekend as part of the end-of-season festivities, and that’s initiated by today’s Fortnite update that’s available for download on all platforms.
Console gamers will see this as Fortnite update 5.10, and this brings balance changes to Battle Royale, and a lot of stuff that’s not set to be rolled out until June 5.

Fortnite’s Update on May 28 Preps the Game for Shattered Event on June 5
Per Epic Games, today’s v40.41 update preps the game for the June 5 Shattered event, which marks the end of the season.
As for the changes to Battle Royale, here are the confirmed gameplay-related changes made:
🏹 Exotic Recon Bow projectile hitbox has been increased, making shots easier to land
🎯 Pulse Pistols retain more of their damage at range and reload a bit faster
🔻 Overdrive Pulse Rifle clip size has been slightly reduced
🔺 Twin Mag SMG clip size has been slightly increased
🔫 Hammer Revolver now deals slightly more damage
🔻 Assault Rifle headshot multiplier has been reduced
👉 Finger Guns deal slightly less damage
While Epic has remained mum on what the upcoming season brings, dataminers have unearthed a few key details about it.
