Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.22 Aims to Improve Matchmaking

Sucker Punch Productions has released Ghost of Tsushima update 2.22 on consoles (update version 2.022 on PS5), and once again, this doesn’t include new content but was pushed out for matchmaking improvements more than anything else. Read on for the official announcement from Sucker Punch below.

Here’s the announcement from Sucker Punch Productions regarding the title update:

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Patch 2.22 will be released today for console players.

So far, this patch is only for consoles, though PC players did get Patch 2 last month. While there’s no mention whether we’ll get new content for the game’s single-player (highly unlikely) or even its Legends multiplayer mode, there is a movie being developed and the latest rumors point to Hiroyuki Sanada (Shogun) being cast for it which we wholeheartedly agree.
