Unfortunately, Sucker Punch Productions hasn’t released the official patch notes just yet. However, the developers have confirmed that the raid will launch on April 10 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET/1 am HKT.

Thankfully, the community has rounded out some of the known new content and changes made by Sucker Punch so far, and these include:

  • Raids – there is a timer counting down for the Raids to release (time-travel does NOT give early access)
  • Sword VFX were added (new option alongside sword skins)
  • New Charms are available – Stealth, etc with (what appears to be) new ways to mix and match current properties (no new properties)
  • Resupply (Archer tech) decreased to 25% (was 30%)
  • Shinobi can run while in Ultimate
  • Fast roll can be done in succession (fast roll back to back)
  • Archer Ultimate usage no longer re-charges Ultimate bar (ie chain Ultimates)
  • Legendary Gear buffs/nerfs
    1. Katana – 100% chance to occur
    2. Yari – weaken lasts MUCH longer
    3. Spirit Brew – lower drop rate for sake bottles
  • Caltrops – Deep bag reduced to 2 (was 3)
  • Blind Bombs – generate Spirit and Ultimate (small amount each)

Players will need to team up against the Dragon and Lord Saito with three other players, as the raid is high-end content that will require four players to complete the challenges that await. Unfortunately, matchmaking will not be available for the raid at launch, as this is something Sucker Punch has confirmed, stating, “Matchmaking will not be available for the Raid at launch. You will still be able to matchmake for other missions and matchmaking for the Raid will be available in a couple weeks after launch.”

Sucker Punch added, “Due to the Raid being high level and challenging content, we encourage players to invite friends or join the Ghost fan discord to coordinate with other community members.”

For those who are looking for team members, the Discord channel for Ghost of Yotei is a great place to find people.

Once Sucker Punch releases the official patch notes, we’ll update the article with the info.

In other PlayStation news, the PS6 handheld is rumored to be more powerful than the Xbox Series S, which we’re hoping is true.
