LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Update 1.011

Earlier this month, TT Games released a game update for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which introduced the Sinister Pack to the game.

Given we just got a content drop, don’t expect today’s patch, which appears as LEGO Batman: LOTDK update 1.011 to be a significant one.

Read on for the known issues that players have confirmed the game is suffering from.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight New Update on September 29 Released After Sinister Pack

So far, TT Games nor WB has provided a changelog, which isn’t surprising. For reference, here’s what’s in the patch released earlier this month:

  • LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is now available on Nintendo Switch 2
  • Mayhem Collection DLC is now available for Deluxe Edition owners on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), including:
    • The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, breaking out of Arkham Asylum in a new story mission
    • Mayhem Mode allowing players to causing chaos on the streets of Gotham City in new gameplay experience
    • Sinister Pack of DC Super-Villains themed outfits, Batcave items, and a vehicle
  • 12 new trophies/achievements, unlockable within the Mayhem Collection DLC on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store)
  • New Absolute difficulty level added as a free update for all players
  • Additional optimization updates, performance improvements, and general quality of life fixes

In addition to that, we’ve listed the known issues that some members of the community have reported, though this doesn’t mean everyone is experiencing the same bugs. There is also a chance that today’s update has resolved some of these issues.

Issue Status / Details
Missing/vanishing WayneTech chest Still reported. A Tricorner Island world chest has been reported disappearing, potentially blocking 100% open-world completion.
Wonder Chests not displaying interaction prompts Reported. Some players encounter chests that cannot be opened despite being at the correct location.
Characters becoming stuck in Wonder Chests Reported. Characters can become trapped in the chest’s collision/geometry.
Riddler challenge progress not saving correctly Reported. Some unlocks earned through Riddler challenges reportedly don’t persist after restarting the game.
Mission soft-locks Reported. Certain missions can leave the player unable to progress, although several specific mission blockers were addressed by earlier patches.
Split-screen co-op crashes Reported. PS5 players have reported crashes occurring more frequently during split-screen co-op than single-player.
Character-switch controls disappearing on PC Reported. The character-switch input can stop responding, particularly with customized controls. Resetting controls and reapplying bindings has been reported as a temporary workaround.
Occasional traversal/input problems Reported. Some players have encountered movement or grapple-targeting problems during open-world traversal.

If we see an official changelog be released, we’ll update the article with the info.
