Little Nightmares 3 Update 1.000.003 Released but It Doesn’t Fix the Most Important Thing
Supermassive Games has released Little Nightmares 3 update 1.000.003, and this is an unannounced title update. Given the game’s DLC that continues the story won’t be released until next year, don’t expect any new content from this title update.
However, the patch doesn’t fix the most important thing, which is online play.

Gameplay:
- Enhancements to AI companion behaviour & animations
- Improved player-environment interactions
Online:
- Improved synchronisation between host & client
Graphics:
- Post-processing updates to improve brightness & readability
UI & UX:
- Localisation & menu improvements
- Fixes for vibration and controller bugs
Original Story:
Bandai Namco nor Supermassive has not said anything about today’s update. However, based on the community’s reaction, online play is still not fixed.
While some players can play online flawlessly, there are a lot of those who experience issues whenever they try playing co-op online. For those expecting this update to resolve that, it didn’t, sadly.
While we’re waiting on the patch notes, here’s the list of confirmed of fixes included in the day-one update:
- Improved stability.
- Improved synchronization between players in multiplayer mode.
- Enhancements to AI companion behavior & animations
- Improvements to AI enemy behavior
- Fixes for vibration and controller bugs
- Fixes & improvements for graphics & UI issues, including asset streaming and clipping reduction.
- Audio (SFX and music) fixes and improvements
- Localization & menu improvements
Some of the issues we’ve experienced in the game include:
- Crashing issues
- Getting stuck in the environment or in certain items, and the only solution is restarting the game
- Enemies not noticing your character(s)
- Audio issues suddenly skips
