Lords of the Fallen New Update 1.082

Developer HexWorks has pushed out a new Lords of the Fallen update on consoles and PC on August 1, and this fixes the issues with unlockable classes for affected saves.

Console gamers will see this as Lords of the Fallen update 1.082 (full ver. 1.082.000), which the developers tag as patch v2.0.55. The complete patch notes are available below, though don’t expect much as this is more of a hotfix than an actual update.

Lords of the Fallen Update on August 1 Fixes Unlockable Classes Bug

Here’s what’s new in today’s patch per HexWorks:

  • Unlockable classes restored for affected saves
  • Walking/running animations improved
  • Fixed missing Andreas of Ebb note & Fief Door issue
  • PvP rewards rebalanced

Alongside the patch released today, publisher CI Games has lowered the RPG’s price permanently to $29.99 on all platforms.

There was also a patch released last week that ushered in the following changes:

PvP Invasions – Now Optional (Off by Default)

For many, the journey through Mournstead is a trial of faith, steel, and shadow. With this update, PvP invasions can now be toggled on and off in the gameplay settings, allowing players to opt-out of invasions entirely. By default, invasions will now be disabled for all players. Should you choose to open your world to the blood-thirsty, know that your courage shall not go unrewarded…

New PvP Rewards – Defend or Invade in Style

For those who embrace the chaos of battle between wayfarers, new updated armour sets now await those who triumph in PvP encounters.

  • Defenders of their realm may now earn the First Luminary Guardsman Armour, bearing the brands of a thousand battles.
  • Invaders, relentless in their pursuit of Vigor and glory, may claim the Crimson Pursuivant Armour, dyed in the blood of countless fallen champions.

These rare sets are loot drops rewarded only to victorious players in PvP combat. Keep your eyes sharp and your blades sharper as armour pieces drop randomly, but only to those who prevail.

PvP Victory Loot – Updated

In addition to the new armour sets, PvP victors are now guaranteed one of the following drops:

  • Large Deralium Shard
  • Deralium Chunk
  • Heavenly Vial
  • Vestige Moth
  • Vigor Moth

Once another patch is out, it’ll  be here on MP1st.
