HexWorks continues its stellar post-release support of Lords of the Fallen, as the studio has released a new patch for the souls-like available now on all platforms. Console players will see this as Lords of the Fallen update 1.065, with PC players seeing it as version 1.7.106.

Players can expect the community-requested feature for HUDs (Heads-Up Display) to be added in and even added NPCs (non-player character) to help at the start.

Lords of the Fallen Adds More Quality-of-Life Improvements in Latest Patch Version 1.065

Dynamic HUD Options

By popular demand, players can now immerse themselves fully in the world of Mournstead with new HUD customisation options:

  • Normal – The default setting, as it has been until now.
  • Dynamic – UI elements appear and disappear based on context.
  • Off – Zero UI, for those seeking complete immersion

NPC Helpers from the Start

You now have the option to summon NPC Helpers right from the first encounter with a boss Previously, they were only available after your first death.

Intel XeSS Integration

We’ve integrated Intel Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), a machine-learning technology that boosts performance while maintaining exceptional image quality.

Stability Improvements

Fixed several random crashes for a smoother gameplay experience.

Don’t expect HexWorks to stop releasing updates. The studio mentioned they will continue pumping out patches until we hit version 2.0. Once another one is available, we’ll let our readers know.
