Lords of the Fallen Update 1.088 Addresses Crashes and Multiplayer Stability

Lords of the Fallen update 1.088 has been released as a hotfix addressing various crashes and bugs which sufaccd in the previous second-anniversary update.

The patch addresses issues such as inventory problems, menu navigation errors, password system glitches, and multiplayer functionality.

Here are the complete patch notes:

  • New Weapon Inventory Fix: Resolved an issue where players with a full inventory did not receive the Moon’s Judgement weapon. This fix also retroactively grants the weapon to affected players from the previous patch.

  • Right Hand Shields: Fixed an issue where shields could appear in the right-hand weapon slot when using sorting.

  • Friend Pass Navigation: Fixed an issue preventing Free Friend Pass players from navigating the Multiplayer submenu in the Vestige Menu when using a controller or keyboard.

  • Password Feature: Fixed issues related to the password system in the Vestige Menu.

  • Host Menu Lock: Fixed an issue where the Host could become unable to navigate the Vestige Menu if a Client joined while it was open.

  • Main Menu Selector: Fixed the issue where the Main Menu selector could disappear for Free Friend Pass players.

  • Parry Tutorial: Fixed an issue where the parry tutorial would repeatedly disappear and reappear during the Otto fight.

The Lords of the Fallen anniversary update released on October 13, introduced a free Moon’s Judgement sword and significantly reworked the magic system. The update also included enhancements to inventory management, added a dedicated pause button, and brought various quality-of-life and co-op fixes based on player feedback.

In other news, speaking to MP1st last month, the developers mentioned that there are no “hard stops” when it comes to updates for the RPG, even though the studio is currently hard at work developing the sequel set for release next year.
