Konami has released Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater update 1.31 today as part of the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1, and this is to fix some issues with several trophies. Check out the MGS3: Snake Eater November 27 patch notes down below.

Update: Konami has released the official patch notes.

METAL GEAR SOLID 3: Snake Eater – Master Collection Version

  • Changed the in-game browser to Microsoft Edge (Xbox Series X|S)
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes trophies weren’t properly unlocked (PlayStation®4)
  • Please note that some trophies cannot be unlocked immediately upon loading save data even if the requirements have previously been met. The requirements of these trophies must be met again in order for them to be unlocked.

  • Fixed some minor issues and made additional adjustments (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4)

No official patch notes have been posted by Konami just yet. However, we do have some small details of this patch via the game’s PS4 update history. Read the relevant details below.

Despite the shortcomings, I still recommend this collection to anyone, especially those who never played these games. They’re simple ports of games that are considered to be among the best. The Metal Gear Solid Trilogy is a masterpiece everyone has to play. And that’s been the biggest issue over the last decades where there was no real good way to play them all, outside of emulators on PC. With Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, Konami has provided a convenient way to do just that on modern and future consoles. Let’s hope Vol. 2 has more effort put into it next time, as most of those games should be based on mostly recent titles.

i read on the Powerpyx website and PSNprofiles that certain trophies are buggy, im glad they finally managed to get them fixed.
