Minecraft Update on Oct. 9 Brings Fixes via Patch 1.031
Minecraft has just received a new update on October 9 on all platforms, and this is for Bedrock version 1.21.113. This brings a short list of fixes that impact gameplay and crashing.
For those on consoles, this will appear as Minecraft update version 1.031 (complete version 1.031.000), and it should be a relatively small download.
Don’t expect any new content, especially since we just got the big The Copper Age update last week.
Minecraft’s New Update Today Applies Patch 1.031
Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the contents of a Bundle would get deleted if placed in a container above a Hopper with all slots filled (MCPE-226250)
- Copper Golem now drops its carried item when player interacts while holding an item in offhand, or when player has armor equipped (MCPE-228459)
- Fixed a crash when using
%.<number>sspecifier with a length longer than the multiplied string - Fixed a potential crash if an Actor query in script was happening during world load
- The
"all_slots_empty","any_slot_empty","has_equipment"filters now support"main_hand"as an equipment location
There was also a patch released last week exclusively on PlayStation, which housed the following fix:
- Fixed an issue where worlds opened from previous versions on PlayStation could sometimes load with incorrect or missing chunk generation and save data (MCPE-228500)
If there are more bugs, expect more patches to be released by Mojang in the coming coming weeks. Once there’s one pushed out, expect it here on MP1st.
