Mortal Kombat 1 Update 1.006.001 Drops for Consoles and PC This August 1
NetherRealm Studios has snuck out Mortal Kombat 1 update 1.006.001 on consoles and PC, and this is an unannounced patch. Given the major title update we got last week that brought in Takeda, don’t expect any new content from this.
Mortal Kombat 1 Update 1.006.001 Patch Notes for August 1:
Oddly enough, NetherRealm has not said anything about today’s patch, and so far the community is also scratching their heads to see what’s in it.
We’ll be adding stuff in the article that the community digs up:
- Johnny Cage nerf (?) – via Hans)
We’re hoping this patch buffs Takeda a bit, as the DLC fighter is a bit weak at the moment. Once the studio releases the official patch notes, we’ll be sure to update it ASAP.
As for what’s coming next to the fighting game, NetherRealm revealed the Year 2 plans, and it includes gender-swapped versions of Sektor and Cyrax, and of course, a slew of new fighters. Alongside the new fighters, animalities (remember those?) are also coming back to the game.
