NBA 2K26 Season 7 Data for Version 7.0 Released via Update 1.020/1.09
Visual Concepts has rolled out the NBA 2K26 Season 7 data, even if the actual season won’t start until this Friday, May 15.
The download is available on last-gen and current-gen consoles, and will appear as NBA 2K26 update 1.09/1.020 (complete version 1.020.000), and given how the devs package the patches, this should be another big file.
Read on for the changes made, which should be available today. But remember, Season 7’s content won’t be out until Friday.

When does NBA 2K26 Season 7 Start?
Season 7 kicks off this Friday, May 15, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST.
WNBA
- The Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo are now available as playable teams in WNBA Quick Play.
- Uniforms and court floors for all WNBA teams are now updated with the latest changes for the 2026 season.
GAMEPLAY
- Refined drive transitions from standing stepback moves to better align with real-world player momentum and physics.
MyNBA
- Fixed a blocker that could occur during the NBA Cup when using a non-standard schedule.
