Nintendo has begun rolling out the Nintendo Switch update 16.1.0 for August 21, which doesn’t bring in any new features. Read on for what’s new in the Nintendo Switch new system update patch notes.

Performing the system update:

In most situations, the Nintendo Switch will automatically download the most recent system update while it is connected online. You can verify your current menu version and manually start the update from the System Settings menu if necessary.

As we said, it’s a stability update likely related to exploit fixes. If anything important surfaces from today’s system firmware patch, we’ll  let our readers know.
