Hello Games has a new patch for No Man’s Sky available for download today, and this brings another set of fixes to the survival space exploration game. Console gamers will see this as No Man’s Sky update 5.075/5.75, and it should be a small download.

Compared to past fixes released, this is a smaller patch, so temper expectations.

No Man’s Sky New Update Released on July 23 Applies Small Set of Fixes

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a visual issue with the tail of the Wraith ship.
  • Fixed an issue which caused Alloy base parts to appear in the wrong colour.
  • Fixed a crash on PS5 when using the Terrain Manipulator.

The last patch released before this from earlier this month, included a host of technical fixes and even gameplay improvements.

Gameplay Improvements

  • Implemented a recovery for players who had travelled a very long distance from the first purple system generated during In Stellar Multitudes, and had no nearby teleporter destinations to return to.
  • Fixed an issue that caused mission markers requiring a target sweep to hide themselves prematurely.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Horrific Flesh-Helmet’s eyeball to render incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some base parts placed prior to the Beacon update to be incorrectly assigned a weathered material

Given the slate of content released and how frequently Hello Games updates their games, don’t be surprised to see more patches released soon.

There’s about a one inch glitch at the bottom of the screen that never goes away. Can you do something about that?
