Overwatch 2 Season 18 Hotfix Now Live as Update 4.08/1.000.072
Blizzard has released a hotfix for Season 18 of Overwatch 2, which will be available as download version 4.08/1.000.072 on consoles. This brings a major adjustment to Stadium that let players select heroes that their opponents have picked.
There are also hero bug fixes included for all role types, which are outlined in the official patch notes below.

Stadium Draft
- Players can now select heroes that the opponents have picked during the draft selection allowing mirror matchups.
Developer comment: We’ve heard your feedback regarding no mirror matches, so we’re enabling it so that each team can pick from the entire hero pool without worrying about what heroes the opponents already picked.

Cassidy
- Fixed an issue with Cassidy’s Silver Bullet Perk that allowed you to fire a normal shot alongside the Silver Bullet.
D.Va
- Fixed a bug with D.Va’s Precision Fusion Perk that allowed for nearly infinite duration.
Echo
- Fixed an issue with Echo that caused Ultimate meter gain to be slowed after Cloning D.Va.
- Fixed a bug that gave Echo extra health when Cloning D.Va.
Junker Queen
- Fixed an issue with Junker Queen’s Battle Shout Perk that amped up reload speed more than intended.
Juno
- In an earlier update, fixed a bug that resulted in Juno’s Primary Fire falloff being shorter than intended.
Mercy
- Fixed a bug with Mercy that would cause speed VFX to play for all allies.
Orisa
- Fixed a bug that prevented Orisa’s Javelin from slamming enemies into walls.
Roadhog
- Fixed a bug with Pulled Pork that granted Overhealth based on Hook duration and not distance.
- Fixed a bug with Roadhog’s Pulled Pork Perk being affected by Ana’s Biotic Grenade.
Sojourn
- Fixed a bug with the Friction Generators Perk that prevented Sojourn from gaining Ultimate if her Ultimate was activated while firing and sliding.
Sombra
- Fixed a bug with Sombra’s Adept Hacker becoming unusable if selected while respawning.
Widowmaker
- Fixed a bug with Widowmaker’s Sniper’s Instinct Perk that allowed her to trigger the Perk without triggering a cooldown for Grapple.
