Palworld Version 0.7.1 Released as the First Patch of 2026 via Update 1.086.065

Palworld Update 1.086.065

Pocketpair has released the first update for Palworld this year, and it’s more than just your standard bug fixes. Called the version 0.7.1 patch, console gamers will see this as Palworld update 1.086.065, and this should be a small download across all platforms.

Players can expect a slew of bug fixes and even balance adjustments in PvP, the Summoning Altar and more. Those who like using melee weapons, you’ll be glad to know the weapon type has been buffed.

Palworld’s January Update Applies Version 0.7.1/1.086.065

Balance Adjustments

・In PvP, the on-screen raid log will now continue to be displayed while your base is under attack from other players.
・The Summoning Altar at your base will no longer be destroyed at the end of the raids inside the raid area.
・Reduce the recovery time between swings for melee weapons (Swords, Katana, Beam Swords).
・Increased the attack range of melee weapons (Swords, Katana, Beam Swords).

Bug Fixes

・Fixed an issue where mods would still function when enabled in their individual settings even when “”Allow Mod Use”” was turned off in the Mod Management menu.
・Fixed an issue where attack notifications would not appear when another player approached your base while riding a Pal in PvP.
・Fixed an issue where Hartalis “”Sacred Barrier”” was not properly blocking the Oil Rig’s anti-aircraft laser.
・Fixed an issue where working Pals would sometimes freeze in combat mode during raid boss battles and not engage in combat.
・Fixed an issue where Life Fruit, Power Fruit and Stout Fruit would not be rewarded when clearing the Hartalis raid boss on “”Extreme”” difficulty.
・Fixed an issue where players would die while on water after leaving a dungeon and before landing, causing their inventory and Pals to be dropped back into the dungeon.
・Fixed an issue where Pals consumed in a Pal Essence Condenser would disappear after a short time had passed since being restored from the Global Pal Box.
・Fixed an issue where Wall Signs would be placed embedded into certain buildings when constructed on them.
・Fixed an issue where the graphics of some building materials and equipment would not be rendered correctly.
・Fixed an issue where some background music and sound effects would continue to play or would play in the wrong place.
・[Steam] Fixed an issue where the achievement “”Alpha Pal Slayer”” would not be unlocked correctly.
・[Xbox] Fixed an issue where DLSS features would sometimes not function as configured.
・Other minor bugs fixes

Expect a ton of support to come Palworld’s way, as Pocketpair prepares the game for its big 1.0 release later this year, which will introduce new Pals and more.
