Phasmophobia Hotfix Update 1.000.018 Applies First Chronicle Set of Fixes
[summaraize]
Following the release of the Chronicle content drop for Phasmophoba earlier this week, Kinectic Games has pushed out the first hotfix for the multiplayer horror game.
Console gamers will see this as Phasmophobia update version 1.000.018, and this applies a short list of fixes to some issues that surfaced with the major update.
Phasmophobia Hotfix Update for June 27 Released and Here Are the Fixes
Here are the confirmed fixes by Kinetic Games:
Fixes
- Fixed an issue that prevented PlayStation users from selecting Asia servers for multiplayer.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Mimic to give D.O.T.S evidence while mimicking a Goryo.
- Fixed an issue that caused Goryo to give D.O.T.S evidence while the player was on 0 evidence mode.
- Fixed an issue that caused the final stage Cursed Hollow trophy to appear in all players cabinets. This will now only display if the player earned it during the event.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some players from selecting ‘Skip’ or ‘Next’ when on the debriefing stat screen following a completed investigation.
If you haven’t updated the game with the Chronicle update, the patch significantly changes investigations, how players record media and so much. Kinetic states, “The core of the CHRONICLE update is our complete rework of how Media is gathered and rewarded in Phasmophobia. A brand-new piece of equipment has been added along with two new types of media – videos and sound recordings – as well as revamped challenges and progression systems.”
I recommend reading the entire patch notes to gain a better understanding of what has changed.
There’s more content on the way for Phasmophobia, as the developers have promised support up to 2026.
