Skate New Update 1.000.009 Adds Halloween Event and Version 0.28.5 Changes
Full Circle has rolled out skate’s first-ever Halloween event and it’s called “skate-o-ween.” Expect Chocolate Coins, rewards and more. Included in the update download for the event is a slew of gameplay changes and improvements, which is part of the version 0.28.5 patch.
Console gamers will see this patch as skate update 1.000.009, but it doesn’t resolve many of the issues still plaguing the game.
Check out the info on the event, as well as the gameplay changes made.
Skate Halloween Updates Adds a New Limited-Time Event and Gameplay Changes
Skate-o-Ween Schedule: Skate-o-Ween runs from Oct 21, 2025 to November 11, 2025.
Full Circle will be adding new Event tasks every week for a total of three weeks. The previous week’s tasks will remain available until the end of Skate-o-Ween. Completing the event tasks will net the player Chocolate coins, which is the event’s currency. This can then be exchnaged for Skate-o-Ween gear, customization and more.
The devs also add, “We’ve also got Event Challenges like Skate the Web (Line), Dreadful Drop (Stunt), Ghostly Grind (OTS), and Sinister Sprinfest (Session). But that’s just a few. Throw down some tricks to get those treats.”
There will also be First Login reward cosmetics and daily free event currency that players can grab from the in-game store.
What are some of the event tasks? Some are pretty easy, like “Land 15 Hippy Jumps”. More intermediate tasks would be like “Earning Score in Sequences that include a Coffin”. For a harder challenge, we’ve got tasks like “Land Sequences with a Body Flip at Skate-O-Ween Community Parks”.
